The church of Agia Paraskevi was built at the north edge of Platsa in 1412, according to the marble founder’s inscription above the entrance, and is a collective sponsorship of the inhabitants of the village. It is a small cross-vaulted church with a semicircular apse. It is built with rubble stone masonry and has elaborate ceramoplastic decoration, mainly consisting of dented bands and friezes of bricks arranged as criss-crossing lozenges. The wall paintings of the interior are mostly preserved and are dated to the 15th century.
